Two weeks straight I have only barely caught a glimpse of this 'sun' thing that is suppose to make an appearance in summer. TWO WEEKS of fog, haze, mist, rain. Promises made day after day of a little excitement- THUNDERSHOWERS. Never to happen.
What did Haligonians do to deserve this? I thought SAD happened in the depths of winter, not this year, SAD sufferers get a second round in July. My plants are rotting because they are too wet. My grass is almost knee height (a slight exaggeration) because it's been too wet to cut. I do not want to garden in muck, so the weeds have taken over there. There are hopes of seeing the sun tomorrow, we'll see.
